Open Position: Showroom Coordinator/ Stylist
The Showroom Coordinator / Stylist is dedicated to providing an exceptional experience for every Sofia Kaman client while maintaining a premium showroom environment. They will be responsible for guiding the client through any one of our engaging sales platforms: in-person and virtual appointments, phones, and live-chat as well as performing daily showroom tasks such as shipping, maintaining displays, and supplies, and more.
The ideal candidate for this role will be able to work a full time schedule (Tues-Saturday) between the hours of 10:30-5:30pm.

Key Responsibilities include:
Customer Experience & Sales:
- Create a welcoming environment for clients by greeting and welcoming guests into our Showroom with enthusiasm, warmth and professionalism, creating a memorable and personalized experience.
- Promptly respond to inquiries and provide assistance through live chats, emails, phone calls, and/or in-person appointments.
- Work with our Direct of Sales to ensure all tasks are met.
- Serve as a point of contact/liaison between clients and Production Lead, maintaining Orders Spreadsheet with extreme attention to detail.
- Checkout processes: assist clients with pick-ups, payments, exchanges, re-sizing, and all shipping operations
Retail Operations:
- Maintain luxury Showroom appearance, cleanliness and organization. This includes performing opening/closing procedures in the showroom.
- Office Management: ordering supplies, cleaning and organization, and shipping.
- Ensure the security of our product and follow operational policy and procedure.
- Organize and ship orders
Specific qualifications:
- 1+ years of luxury jewelry sales experience in a premium retail environment
- Retail lead or keyholder experience a plus
- Passion for and knowledge about Jewelry, Diamonds (Modern, Antique, Lab Created Diamonds, 4 C’s, etc), and Gemstones
- Excellent professional verbal and written communication, while consistently maintaining high attention to detail
- Proficiency with Mac computer and software systems. Practical experience with a CRM/POS system or customer focused channel software system preferred

Jewelry Production Coordinator (part- full time)
Position Overview:
Sofia Kaman Fine Jewels is seeking a PART to FULL-time Production Coordinator to to join our in-house jewelry manufacturing team. This position calls for a professional, organized person who has great people and communication skills, attention to detail, experience with all aspects of jewelry production and would enjoy working for a growing, fun team.
The ideal candidate for this role will be able to work a part-time schedule, shifting to full-time over the next two months. Days and hours are flexible (Mon-Fri)
Who you are:
You are organized, efficient, with great attention to detail and strong communication skills.
You have great time management skills, strict adherence to deadlines, project management and are team-focused.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Must be able to quickly learn our product line in order to properly process steps required to create each piece.
- Organize and coordinate the production of new designs, bespoke client work, and order fulfillment of our signature collections.
- Coordinate detailed communications and manage deadlines between the Sales Team and Production Team to ensure timely completion of projects and from start to finish, including shipping.
- Must be familiar with traditional jewelry production processes: CAD rendering, casting, cleaning, pre-polish, setting, finishing, engraving, etc.
- Must have working knowledge of jeweler's tools, machinery and equipment for Jewelry Manufacturing and Repair Facilities.
- Contributes to maximizing the financial return of precious metal recoveries (hard scrap, filings, sweeps, vacuum bags, etc.) by following proper asset recovery procedures.
This is a new position in which candidate will work closely with company founder to create and document operational systems to achieve maximum efficiency, accuracy, and top quality work.
Specific qualifications:
- 1+ years of fine jewelry production management
- Passion for and knowledge about Jewelry, Diamonds (Modern, Antique, Lab Created Diamonds, 4 C’s, etc), and Gemstones
- Excellent professional verbal and written communication, while consistently maintaining high attention to detail
- Proficiency with Mac computer and software systems.
Part-time to Full time
Pay: Up to $30.00 per hour DOE

Open Position: Diamond Setter / Bench Jeweler with Production Setting Skills (full time)
Position Overview:
Sofia Kaman Fine Jewels is seeking a FULL-time Diamond Setter / Bench Jeweler with setting skills to to join our in-house production team
We are seeking an experienced Diamond Setter (or Bench Jeweler who can do production setting work.) This position calls for a professional, experienced diamond and gemstone setter, who has an attention for detail and would enjoy working for a growing, fun team.
The ideal candidate for this role will be able to work a full time schedule (40hours- Mon-Fri, times are flexible.)
Our ideal candidate will possess the following:
Provide high-quality jewelry setting and repair services to clients in a timely fashion to support store sales. Must contribute to the progress of client repairs and production while maintaining a high level of quality and service. Good time management skills, strict adherence to deadlines, project management and deadline-focused.
- Organized, efficient, with great attention to detail and strong communication skills.
- Must have a very high comfort level plus experience in working with all metals, predominately gold
- Expert diamond and colored stones setting in: traditional pave, micro-pave, u-set pave, center stones, prong, bezel, burnish, gypsy set, etc.
- Capable of performing a variety of repairs and sizings
- Capable of handling small amounts of soldering, laser welding and finishing
- nowledgable with repair and restoration of antique/vintage pieces, a plus
- Contributes to maximizing the financial return of precious metal recoveries (hard scrap, filings, sweeps, vacuum bags, etc.) by following proper asset recovery procedures.
- Advanced knowledge of jeweler's tools, machinery and equipment for Jewelry Manufacturing and Repair Facilities
*The candidate must pass a bench test and background check with interview.

- Setting micro pave: 2 years (Required)
- Diamond setter: 3 years (Required)
- Light repairs, sizing, finishing
