A Georgian emerald ring to envy! Emerald’s lush green hue has soothed souls and excited imaginations since antiquity. The first known emerald mines were in Egypt, dating from at least 330 BC into the 1700s. Cleopatra was known to have a passion for emerald, and used it in her royal adornments. We love this Georgian emerald beauty for its lush green color, low profile and regal presence. We named it “the Cleo” for one of this gem’s original fans! Circa 1780.
